Fr John Lockyer was a beloved Honourary Assistant at St John’s Elora for 8 years. Prior to his retirement, he served in Orangeville, Erin, and in several churches in the Diocese of Algoma. Before his ordination, he was an English teacher and administrator at Pickering College for 30 years.
He will be missed by colleagues, friends, and family from around the church.
There was a requiem Eucharist for Fr. John at St John’s Elora on June 8.
